BIO


Firas is senior level executive with a proven track record of building and running large organizations in the sales and marketing arena.   His track record in business varies among different company sizes and in various stages of business maturity, including start ups, turnarounds, and growth.   Firas’ knowledge and detailed understanding of different companies and businesses makes him a unique senior level executive with the ability to quickly assess an organization, develop strategies and execute.  

 

Firas is the founder of ExcellenceInSales, a sales improvement company focused on sales and marketing execution.  Firas has a proven philosophy that nothing happens without investing in the front line leadership.  Therefore, his model is to provide the sales teams with the tools and strategies to help them acquire and grow their territories, yet the primary focus is on sales execution, which begins with the front line leaders.   Firas began his consulting career with Aslan Training and Development, a sales training firm & consulting firm with specific focus on organizational development in sales and client engagement.  For more than 10 years, Firas launched, managed and consulted in multiple projects in various companies and industries in North America, Europe and Asia.  Companies include: GMAC, ScanSource, HP, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Dun & Bradstreet, TT Electronics, Netsuite, Stericycle, Pearson, and many others).   His expertise includes:

Firas has been instrumental in the success of multiple companies due to his ability and flexibility to work at every level in the organization including, hiring the right people, training front line employees, development the management team and coaching the executive team.   

 

Prior to Aslan, Firas spent over 14 years at MCI communications and held a number of positions there – including senior level sales and customer service management, marketing, training, and training development.  When he left MCI he was Director of Sales and Customer Service Operation - a division that was comprised of 1,500 people. His expertise includes building teams, leadership development, field sales management, project management, inbound and outbound call center management, quality assurance and business process improvement.   After MCI, Firas was at Sage Software and held the position of executive director for sales and product migration for North America.

Firas received a bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing and holds an MBA from JSU.
